Brick Cartage

We offer specialised transport to the building and construction industry. Our main freight is made up of (but not limited to) bricks, pavers, retaining wall products, timber, precast panels, precast concrete products for civil construction, scaffolding, spa baths, minor species logs, stone (both quarry and palletised building stone), tiles, roofing iron, factory machinery, cubby houses and general palletised products. We have also been hired to unload fishing nets and equipment from fishing trawlers.

Our vehicles include:

• A Mack Vision with a 5.2 metre flat tray truck with a rear mounted Palfinger Hiab crane with 8 metres reach and up to 4 tonne lifting capacity.
• A Volvo FM12 Truck with a 7.2 metre flat tray with a Moffett Mounty all terrain Forklift.
• A dog trailer (5.2 metre long tray, 14.5 tonne payload) can be towed with the Mack or Volvo.
• An Iveco Daily Flat tray truck with a 4.2 metre tray.

Our fleet of fully equipped vehicles have a full service history and maintenance log and current full comprehensive insurance and public liability insurance. The operators are fully licensed and experienced and show great pride in achieving the highest possible level of service.

All Terrain Truck Mounted Forklift

The 3 wheel Moffett Mounty forklift is carried around on the rear of the Volvo truck. It is road registered. It weighs 2.8 tonnes and has a 2.5 lifting capacity. The extension boom can reach level with a standard 2nd storey building's floor or 2.5 metres forward of where the forklift can drive to. Although the forklift is 2.4 metres wide it can turn around in its own radius which makes it ideal for tight spaces or getting through gates into back yards. From the ground to the top of the roll cage is 2.5 metres high allowing it access to most garages/sheds with a large roller door. It is driven by an experienced operator who enjoys a challenge.
